A grain elevator is a tower containing a bucket elevator, which scoops up, elevates and then deposits grain in a silo or other storage facility. In the United States and Canada, a "grain elevator" also includes grain receival buildings, storage facilities and/or complexes of these, when they are attached to the elevator tower.
